In a Nutshell 🥜
In a nutshell – Concisely or compactly, usually referring to written or spoken words. The phrase owes its origins to the Roman scribe Pliny the Elder, who claimed that Homer’s epic poem, the Iliad, had been so minutely written it could fit inside a nutshell. Though likely hyperbole, the idea resonated through centuries, evolving into shorthand for conveying the art of expressing a lot with very little.
